As a professional Orser skated with Stars on Ice for nearly 20 years. He has also served as a coach and helped both Kim Yuna and Yuzuru Hanyu win Olympic Gold Medals and Javier Fernandez win the World Title in 2015. Orser serves as the skating director at the Toronto Cricket, Skating and Curling Club. He is openly gay and was forced to reveal his sexuality when he lost a legal battle in 1998.
