Warren Buffett’s middle child, Howard Graham Buffett, is named after his grandfather and his father’s favorite professor from college. By all means, Howard could have grown up to become an entitled snot. He also could have become a ruthless businessman. Or more simply, he could have chosen to live a life total leisure, doing nothing but playing golf and wasting his trust fund all day, every day. Amazingly, in the face of all these highly desirable options, Howard’s dream was to become a farmer.
The average baseball player will make $4.47 million this year. That’s a record, though it’s the smallest increase (1.6 percent) since 2004, when the average salary fell from $2.5 million to $2.4 million, a three percent decline. Interestingly, the team with the highest payroll is in the same state as the team with the lowest payroll. The Los Angeles Dodgers opening day payroll was $188 million, though they have $235 million in total financial commitments.
The Rothschild empire grew from the slums of Frankfurt’s 18th century Jewish ghetto seemingly overnight. One day, Mayer Amschel Rothschild ran a coin dealership and then in the blink of an eye became the head of the world’s richest family, with financial operations run by his five sons in London, Paris, Vienna, Naples, and Frankfurt. Historians have calculated that in relative terms, they were richer than any dynasty today — even the Saudi royal family – many times over.
The idea behind the 108M is to appreciate the natural beauty of a sea voyage, rather than load up the yacht with a bunch of attention-getting opulence that’s distracting at best and inefficient at worst. Efficiency is also given a high premium, as the 108M is described as a “hybrid mega yacht” at Hareide’s official site, with two energy sources depending on the intended use of the craft: Passengers on board the 108M won’t exactly be roughing it, however, with access to an elevated dining area and observation space, a 20-meter swimming pool surrounded by a “tranquil garden,” and a multi-use grand hall with views and contact with nature not possible on a traditional yacht.
According to Covanta’s own estimation, people in the United States throw away about $61.8 million in loose change, presumably by accident. How this happens varies, but some of the most common scenarios include discarded coins getting swept off of restaurant tables, emptied out of people’s pockets, and vacuumed up off the floor or out of couch cushions and thrown away with the dust and dirt. Back in the old days, those pennies, nickels, dimes, and so on would go completely to waste at the city dump, but as volume goes up and space down, companies like Covanta have greater and greater incentives to try and filter out valuable metals like steel, aluminum, iron, and copper to sell off.

When you have a moment I would like to pose some follow up questions:
My first question is in regards to your twitter handle. When you first started tweeting, were there really so many other impostor Roseannes that you needed to qualify yourself as TheREALRoseanne?
He has done voice acting for several commercials including “Ode to Flavor” by Haagen-Dazs. He also played the role of Richard Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man. He has one son by the name of Malcolm and is currently married to Kathleen McElfresh. They reside in northwest Connecticut.
Now, the Thunder are hungry for more and are putting together quite the offseason. They’ve already nabbed Paul George from the Pacers, and they just acquired Carmelo Anthony in a trade with the New York Knicks. The Thunder will send Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott, and a second-round pick (via the Bulls) in exchange for Anthony. To allow the deal to actually happen, Anthony waived his no-trade clause and $8.1 million trade kicker.
Only one day after her retirement announcement made headlines, however, she took to her Instagram to backtrack on her earlier statements. “While it’s true that I’m eager to shift my focus a bit to concentrate on my businesses, friends, and family – I’m not making any final statements. … Never say never.” One of the most-photographed women in the world, and at one point the world’s highest-paid model, Crawford has been a part of the fashion industry for the past 30 years.
After all, in 2001, he was a big part of the pitching rotation that led the Arizona Diamondbacks to what still remains the only championship in franchise history. Then, in 2004, he pitched on shredded ankle ligaments to defeat the Yankees and then the St. Louis Cardinals to help lead the Red Sox to their first championship in 86 years. His perseverance, most often showed in the form of his bloody sock, earned him admiration and praise from fans and media alike.

Several years ago she attempted to swim from Cuba to Florida, despite being in her 60’s. Just like the attempt in August of 2011, she didn’t make it, but she did manage to spend a fair amount of money attempting! The first trip cost over $500,000, but it did manage to get her back in the news so she could continue to make speaking engagements around the world. She charges from $10,000 to $15,000 to give her motivational speeches.
The fan’s name is Anthony Rotondi. Rotondi was ejected from Madison Square Garden during a Knicks game on January 7, 2014. This ejection eventually ended up costing him his job as a trader at ING. That’s a pretty harsh transition. So how did it happen? Allegedly, a fellow employee at ING and MSG Vice President, Courtney Jeffries, had a conversation the day after Rotondi’s ejection. Jeffries told the employee that Rotondi was acting disorderly and refused to leave the arena once he was ejected.
There are plenty of mixologists out there making $14 artisanal cocktails with blackberry shrub and deconstructed cherries. But the true billionaires of the world can throw down some serious cash if they’re in the mood for one of the world’s most expensive cocktails. So if you were flying around on your Bombardier jet on a Friday night, here’s a sampling of the world’s priciest cocktails for your (luxury) happy hour pleasure.
#5: Zooey Deschanel Actress and singer Zooey D. was married to Death Cab for Cutie singer Ben Gibbard for a few years, but they kept things quiet and many of her fans didn’t even know that she was married. Many people were surprised to hear that this couple was divorcing in 2012, and the divorce was almost as quiet as the marriage. Both Zooey and Ben had their own money so the actress agreed that she would get nothing out of the divorce.
They go on to say that over the past several months they have made more than one attempt to repossess the car through more peaceful means, but have been unsuccessful in all of these attempts. Hence, they have resorted to filing a lawsuit against Williams demanding that she either pay up or give up the car. For Williams’ part, she’s pleading ignorance on the whole issue. Here’s a statement issued by a representative for Williams that professes that she knows nothing about the lawsuit: Those divorce proceedings referenced in the statement refer to her pending divorce from National Basketball Association player Eric Williams, through whom Jennifer landed her role as a “basketball wife” before she was fired from the show (along with fellow basketball wives Royce Reed and Kesha Nichols) in order to foster a more positive and supportive atmosphere on the show.
Update On March 1st, 2013, Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens agreed to a $120.6 million dollar deal. This deal, for the time being, makes Flacco the highest paid player in NFL history. The Packers are expected to surpass this deal when they re-sign Aaron Rodgers soon. At that rate, Flacco will earn an average of $20 million in base salary per year which equates to roughly $170,000 each in season day, for six years.
