O.J. Simpson Everyone knows the O.J. Simpson story. He was legendary on the gridiron at USC and in the NFL. He was a beloved sports hero. He was “the juice.” And then he killed his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman. The resulting trial and media circus changed the legal system in the U.S. It also spawned the Kardashians, as Robert Kardashian was one of Simpson’s attorneys.
Tencent isn’t the first company to reach this impressive total. In late 2014, Alibaba’s value went over $300 billion for a brief time after an IPO in New York. It’s currently dipped a bit to a still-impressive $295 billion. This is Tencent’s first time breaking that threshold. The company’s CEO, “Pony” Ma Huateng, is one of an increasing number of Chinese billionaires. The country recently surpassed the United States as the country with the most billionaires, but philanthropy has been slow to take off as many CEOs tend to be media shy.

So why did Kiffin leave a cushy offensive coordinator gig for the head coaching job at a middling Conference USA school? Simple – he didn’t have any other choices. He’ll also be making less money as a head coach at FAU than he was as an offensive coordinator in Tuscaloosa. That may come as a surprise. Kiffin, who’s only 41, already has coaching stints with the Oakland Raiders, Tennessee Volunteers, and USC Trojans on his resume.
